On 12/11/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Lillian G. Jones, age 48, of Stendal, Indiana, for Manufacture/Delivery of Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine following a traffic stop at 9th & Market Street. During the stop K-9 Officer Daniel Hopper conducted a free air narcotics sniff with his K-9 Ace to the exterior of Jones’ black Chevrolet. Ace alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle and a search was conducted. During the search four individual bags of suspected methamphetamine were located. Jones was placed under arrest at this time. Jones was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged and held pending a bond setting by a judge.
