Meeting in a brief, special session late yesterday, Wabash County Commissioners approved the first draft of the county’s 2019-2020 budget that goes into effect December 1st. Commissioner Tim Hocking and County Clerk Janet Will worked to craft the new spending plan that left little wiggle room because of a couple factors. Hocking said the first one being the new city-county dispatch agreement…
Will said since there are no increases in revenue on the horizon, it was important to balance the new budget….
The budget is on public display in the county clerk’s office for the next 15 days and will be formally approved at meeting on Friday, November 29th.
