On Saturday, November 9, the Allendale Masonic Lodge held its monthly breakfast for the public and a Can Good/Non-Perishable Item drive to benefit WADI in Mt. Carmel. Many cans and items were donated, along with a sizable monetary donation from the public and the Allendale Masonic Lodge. To bolster the number of can goods and non-perishable items, Allendale School through the Bee Kind Club held a blitz to see which class would bring in the most items per student. The winning class was fourth grade, as they averaged 9.1 items per student. Overall, Allendale School collected 549 cans and non-perishable items. The Allendale Masonic Lodge would like to thank everyone who donated canned goods, non-perishable items, or cash.
