Kelli Storckman announces her run for Wabash County State’s Attorney. She will run as a candidate on the Republican ballot seeking election in 2020.
She is a 2004 Indiana University graduate and obtained her law degree from Southern Illinois University in 2007. Following law school, Kelli worked in Carbondale and Marion in civil litigation for two years before settling in Wabash County in 2009. She worked as an Associate and then Partner with Rhine Ernest LLP in Mt. Carmel from 2009-2016. She has owned her own law practice in Mt. Carmel since 2016 providing legal services to the community. She is the current City attorney for the City of Mt. Carmel.
Kelli lives in rural Wabash County with her husband, Clayton Storckman, and their three children, August, Scout and Forrest. She has served as a board member on the Wabash County Youth Foundation and the Guardian Center.
“I am a proud resident of Wabash County, Illinois and the opportunity to serve my community in the capacity of State’s Attorney is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I have the experience and work ethic necessary to successfully serve in this position. Providing justice to and looking out for the safety of the citizens of Wabash County will be my top priorities if the community chooses me as their next State’s Attorney.”
