Cassandra Goldman Will Not Seek Re-Election For Wabash County State's Attorney

Wabash County State’s Attorney Cassandra Goldman has announced she will not seek re-election to the Office of Wabash County State’s Attorney after fulfilling her current term.

Goldman was elected to her first four-year term as State’s Attorney in 2008, and was re-elected to the position in 2012 and 2016.

“After careful consideration and discussion with my family, I have decided that my current term will be my last. It has been an honor to serve the citizens of Wabash County as your State’s Attorney,” Goldman stated.

Prior to serving as Wabash County State’s Attorney, Goldman was an elected member of the District #348 school board for seven years.

“It was not an easy decision because I have enjoyed collaborating with so many individuals, groups, and organizations to keep our community the safe place that I’ve always called home. It has been a privilege to work with our local law enforcement officers, the county board, and the courthouse personnel,” Goldman said.

“I want to thank my family for the sacrifices that they have made to allow me to serve our County. I also want to express my gratitude to the citizens of Wabash County for trusting and supporting me in this position,” Goldman concluded.
