Pipe Replacement Scheduled for SR 58 Near Freelandville

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation reminds the motoring public of a pipe replacement project on S.R. 58 in northern Knox County

Beginning on or around Monday, Sept. 24, INDOT maintenance crews will close S.R. 58 to excavate and replace drainage culverts at multiple locations. The work will take place between the intersections at S.R. 159 and S.R. 67. Closures are expected to take place during daytime hours only, so that school traffic will not be affected. However, during the operation, local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. All through traffic should use the official detour using S.R. 159 and S.R. 67.

Work is expected to last four to five days, depending upon weather conditions. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews
