Mt. Carmel Police arrested 42 year old Frank E. Shoultz of Mt. Carmel after police were dispatched to 930 Chestnut Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers were told that Shoultz had used his hands to choke his girlfriend over missing money. Shoultz was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with aggravated domestic battery. Shoultz is being held pending the setting and posting of bond.
