With kids heading back to school on August 15th, city officials have announced the Mt. Carmel Swimming Pool will end its’ 2018 season next weekend. City Clerk Rudy Witsman announced the final regular day for the pool will be Sunday, August 12th with the dog swim set for the next evening on August 13th. Witsman explained why the pool closes so early even though there’s plenty of summer weather to come….
Following the dog swim on the 13th, the pool is drained and readied for winter.
