WHEN: 06/22/18 at 4:32 a.m.
VEHICLES: Unit #1 – Silver 2017 Toyota Corrolla – Nevada Registratino
Unit #2 TT – White 2017 Freightliner TT – Arizona Reg
Unit #2 ST – White 2008 Commodore ST – Oklahoma Reg
DRIVER: Unit #1 – Noor, Abdullahi, 30yo male from Kansas City, Missouri
Unit #2 – Fischer, Cody A. 51yo male from Watertown, SD
PASSENGER: Unit #2 – Golladay, Gary E. 66yo male from Spangle, WA
CHARGES: Unit #1- Improper Passing on the Left
TRANSPORTS: Driver of Unit 1 was transported to the Terra Haute Regional Hospital
PRELIMINARY: Preliminary investigative details indicate Unit 1and Unit 2 were traveling
East on Interstate 70 near milepost 122.5 when Unit 1 began passing Unit
2 in the passing lane. Unit 1 failed to change lanes when it was safely
clear of Unit 2 and struck the front brush guard of Unit 2. Unit 1 then
spun sideways off of the roadway to the right and overturned into the
ditch. The driver of Unit 1 exited the vehicle on his own and was
transported to the Terra Haute Regional Hospital for treatment.
