06/09/2018-Mt. Carmel Police arrested three minors for being in possession of alcohol after their vehicle was stopped by MCPD officers. Police stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and during the stop K-9 Ace indicated the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Police located the alcohol and a small amount of cannabis in the vehicle. Police charged Samuel E. Ewald, age 19, Jorden A.L. King, age 20 and Trevor R. Rhinehart, age 20, with possession of alcohol by a minor. King was also written a citation for possession of cannabis. All three subjects were transported to the Wabash County Jail and were later released. All three subjects are from the Mt. Carmel area.
