After the Relay for Life event held in June, 2017, the committee decided to start a local committee called Wabash Rally Against Cancer (WRAC).
The mission of WRAC is to work with individuals and families to improve the quality of life, while helping to build healthier lives for people affected by cancer. The goal of the organization is to financially help the people in Wabash County during their battle with cancer. Instead of having a Relay for Life event this year with the American Cancer Society, the committee plans to do a fall festival event to raise funds to kick start the ability to assist our local community members with their fight against cancer. Details regarding this event will be announced at a later date.

The current board members of WRAC are as follows: Gloria Reed, President; Danielle Stevens, Vice-President; Sandy Craig, Secretary; Robin Dean Treasurer; and Liz Dunn and Bridget Shepard, both at-large representatives.
