It was certainly a Merry Christmas for members of the Wabash County Retail Merchants Committee as $158,000 RMC gift checks were purchased in 2017. Most of the gift checks were purchased by local companies and used as holiday bonuses while others were bought by individuals for gift giving. The gift checks can be purchased year-round at the Chamber office and can only be used at Merchant member businesses. Non RMC members who would like to take advantage of the gift check program in 2018 can contact the Chamber office for details on joining the merchants committee.
