Crum Reports On Civil Case Changes

Wabash County Circuit Clerk Angie Crum told commissioners that her office is changing how it handles paperwork for civil cases under a new state law. Effective January 1st, all civil case filings must be done on line. That mostly applies to lawyers, but Crum’s office is now set up to handle the e-filings directly. However, those who don’t have access to online filing may appeal to the court for a waiver, according to Crum.
