A 20 year old Harrisburg man will be sentenced January 30th on a Class 2 felony charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. William Catt was taken into custody by the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office after a a nearly month long investigation. It’s alleged that Catt had a sexual encounter with a 14 year old earlier this year. Catt entered a guilty plea to the charge on October 3rd at which time a pre-sentence investigation and sex offender evaluations were ordered. Catt was in court today when the sentencing date was set. He faces 3 to 7 years in prison and fines of up to $25,000.
