Glick's Home Invasion Trial Postponed

A 31-year-old Mt. Carmel man charged in connection to a September shooting in Bellmont was back in court this week. Levi Glick faces two Class X felony counts of home invasion with a firearm along with a Class 3 felony count of possession of a firearm by a felon. During the Monday court appearance, Glick had his jury trial delayed from January 8th to March 5th upon a motion from state’s attorney Cassandra Goldman. Pretrial conferences in the case are set for January 22nd and February 21st. Previously, Glick entered a not guilty plea to the charges. During that September 21st altercation, Glick sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh while another person was shot in the foot. A preliminary charge of attempted murder was never formally filed against Glick. Glick is being held on $1 million bond.
