Aces Push Across Run In 7th To Walk Off Effingham

From Coach Tyler Browning: Golden Aces (10-6 overall, 2-1 conference) pick up a very nice win over Effingham today by the score of 2-1 on a beautiful day at Dee White Field. We had an AWESOME crowd today and appreciate everyone who took time out of their weekend to cheer us on to victory.

A 2-out rally in the 7th was the difference - Sloss with the walk-off double scoring Browning to end the game! As always, Mounts was really good on the bump going 6 strong innings with great defense behind him. Gillihan and Browning both had multiple hits in the ballgame to lead the Aces offense.

Our next action comes Wednesday @ home against the Carmi Bulldogs. Go Aces!
