The other five girls earning medals were: Mady Young, Miley Kennard, Emily Gottman and Maria Kennard. Freshmen, Zeme Moore and Ava Brumagin played great for their first time playing on this course. Metropolis is a long course with the front and the back intertwined. The shotgun start has the girls walking to the front and back multiple times making it a very long walk and day. The tournament started at 9:00 am and finished up at 4:00 pm. That’s a long day of golf! I posted a video of Mady to show the course conditions, watch the dirt fly as she impacts the ball… it was dry and hot in Massac County. Our next match is at Marion Wildcat Invite on Wednesday. Go Aces!
