Bleyer Says School Meals Not Interrupted By Supply Issues

Supply chain issues are affecting school lunches and breakfasts at local schools. At the recent district #348 school board meeting, superintendent Dr. Chuck Bleyer told the board the issues are out of local control…

Bleyer said the shortage doesn’t mean there’ll be an issue with providing students with meals. Bleyer said he and head cook Angie Sharp expect the issue to continue for at least the next couple of months. He said while meals are still free for all students, menus will continue to remain in flux and he asked for patience as district officials continue to navigate the issue.
