Mount Carmel man arrested on multiple charges

On June 7, 2024, at 11 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a fight in progress in the 2500 block of North 950 West near rural Owensville.  Multiple units were dispatched to the scene, and upon arriving Deputy Michael Owens could hear the sound of fighting coming from inside the residence.  After ordering the men out of the residence he held them at gunpoint until back up could arrive.  Once back up arrived an investigation was conducted into the incident.  During the investigation probable cause was found to place 23 year old Dalton Farrar of Mount Carmel into custody.  Once the investigation was concluded Mr. Farrar was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Residential Entry, Battery with Bodily Injury, Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.
