From MCPD: On Friday, September 16th, the MCHS Homecoming Parade will leave Mt. Carmel High School at approximately 3:15pm to hit Market Street at approximately 3:30pm. Upon the conclusion of the parade, Market Street from 2nd to 5th Street will be shut down in preparation for the Smokin' For Garrett BBQ Contest/Memorial Fundraiser that will conclude on Saturday afternoon. 50 BBQ teams will be arriving on Market Street for the Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned event. Please plan to move your vehicles off of Market Street directly after the parade. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
