City officials were on the scene early this morning assessing the aftermath and the next steps after a large portion of the Vintage Collections building at 4th and Market Streets collapsed Sunday morning.

Mayor Joe Judge and City Inspector Mike Gidcumb looked over the building and what needs to be done to have the building demolished. The Merchants Park and adjacent building are cordoned off with police tape and anyone trespassing is subject to arrest due to the danger of the structures.

Judge and Gidcumb visited the Morning Show today to update listeners on the situation.
