The council discussed eliminating part-time employees from the policy and to require the hiring of any family member be approved by the city council.
City Attorney Kelli Storckman will work on the changes and present it again at the April 22nd meeting. If approved, the nepotism policy would only affect new hires and not those currently employed by the city.
