The Rotary Clubs of Carmi and Mt Carmel, and the Foundation for the Enhancement of Life in Wabash County are putting together an event at Beall Woods State Park on 14-15 May 2022.
It is called Olde Tyme Arts and Krafts Fair. It will be an encampment of Early Settler period. Organizeers are hoping to make this an annual event and build it up for Mt Carmel's bicentennial in 2024.
The group is actively seeking demonstrators, vendors, craftsfolk and campers.
Entertainment on Saturday includes a performance by Dennis Stroughmatt's band L'Espirit Creole.
