Lady Aces Stay Unbeaten With Sweep In Harrisbug

Kami Pearson pitched 7 innings giving up 4 runs, 3 earned on 6 hits, 7 walks and struck out 6. 

 

Kami Pearson was 3-3 with 1 double, 1 walk, 1 RBI and scored 1 run. 

Stormie Devine was 2-4 with 2 RBI and scored 1 run. 

Selby Patberg was 2-3 with 1 double, 1 stolen base and scored 2 runs. 

Carli Merritt was 1-3 with 1 RBI

Olivia Stinson was 1-3 with 1 RBI 

Hailey Lang was 1-3 with 1 double. 

Avary Daum was 1-3. 

Mackenzie Sanders scored 1 run. 

 

The Lady Aces trailed 4-3 in the Top of the 7th inning. After back to back singles lead off the inning by Avary Daum and Selby Patberg, Mackenzie Sisson laid down a sac bunt to advance the runners to 2nd and third with 1 out. After a Kami Pearson walk, Stormie Devine singled up the middle scoring 2 runs to take the lead. The Lady Bulldogs threatened in the bottom of the 7th, but Kami Pearson closed the door to win the game 5-4.

Bella Andrews pitched 4 innings giving up 3 runs, 2 earned, on 4 hits, 3 walks and 2 strikeouts. 

Kami Pearson pitched 3 innings giving up 1 earned run on 5 hits, no walks, and struck out 2. 

 

Stormie Devine was 2-4 with 1 double, 2 RBI and scored 2 runs. 

Emma Banks was 2-4 with 1 RBI and scored 1 run. 

Selby Patberg was 1-4 and scored 1 run. 

Kami Pearson was 1-2 with 1 double, 2 walks, 1 RBI and scored 1 run. 

Carli Merritt was 1-4 with 1 homerun, 2 RBI and scored 1 run. 

Olivia Stinson was 1-1 with 1 walk. 

Hailey Lang was 1-3 with 1 RBI. 

Rachael Johnson was 1-3 with 1 double and scored 1 run. 

 

Freshman Bella Andrews pitched extremely well against an 8-3 Mt. Vernon team who can hit the ball. She gave us 4 great innings before turning it over to Kami Pearson to close it out. 

This was a great day for Lady Aces Softball, beating two teams that were a combined 23-4 coming into today. We move to 7-0 and take on Marshall for an LIC conference game on Monday at home starting at 4:30.
