Jackets Fall At Cisne
On Thursday, September 3rd, Yellow Jackets Baseball traveled to Cisne for WEAA Conference action. In the top of the first, the Yellow Jackets had Brady Porter and Kasen Dulgar on base, but couldn't get a run across the plate. In the bottom of the first, Cisne exploded for 11 runs before the Yellow Jackets could get three outs. In the top of the second inning, Rhett Andrews made it all the way to third base and Tristan Bray made it to first base with two outs, but could not cross the plate. Cisne in the bottom of the second pounded the plate another 6 times. In the third inning, Michael Smith made it to second base, but could not advance any further. For the first time in the game, Cisne was held scoreless in the third inning. In the top of the fourth inning, Brendan Bowser and Rhett Andrews reached safely, but were left stranded at second and first base respectively. At this point, the game was over due to run-rule, as Cisne won the game 17-0.
Offensively for the Yellow Jackets, Brady Porter had a walk, Kasen Dulgar had a single, Michael Smith had a single, Brendan Bowser had a single, Rhett Andrews had a single, and Tristan Bray walked. Pitching for the Yellow Jackets were Brendan Bowser, Kasen Dulgar, and Elliott Acree. The Yellow Jackets are now 1-3 on the season and in WEAA Conference play. Next up: home game on September 8th against Red Hill at 4:30 pm.
