Mt. Carmel High School is officially a member of the Little Illini Conference. Meeting in special session this morning, the Wabash District #348 school board voted unanimously to accept the L-I-C’s invitation to become a member of the conference effective with the 2021-22 school year. Last year, Mt. Carmel was not affiliated with a conference after leaving the Big 8 Conference. This year, the Aces are a provisional member of the L-I-C making it easier to schedule opponents during the state’s restrictions imposed because of the pandemic.
