BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana will celebrate decorated seniors Tyra Buss and Amanda Cahill in Senior Day festivities on Saturday against Nebraska. Tipoff is set for Noon ET on Big Ten Network.

Promotions: Senior Day:  seniors Tyra Buss and Amanda Cahill will be honored. A pregame ceremony will take place on the court of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall at approximately 11:40 a.m. ET. A postgame video will be played following the singing of the IU alma mater followed by Tyra and Amanda addressing the crowd. Fans are asked to remain in their seats until its conclusion. The team will sign autographs postgame.
 
Senior Day poster: The first 500 fans will receive a commemorative poster of Amanda Cahill and Tyra Buss.
 
Tyra Buss Bobblehead: The first 850 fans to the south lobby marketing table will receive a voucher for a Tyra Bussbobblehead. The voucher can be redeemed beginning at the 5-minute mark of the second quarter at the south lobby marketing table. Bobbleheads will be handed out until the end of the game.

Nebraska comes into Saturday's meeting after improving to 9-0 on the road this season with a 79-69 win over Michigan State. They are led by sophomore guard Hannah Whitish (12.8 ppg., 5.1 apg.) along with junior forward Maddie Simon (10.4 ppg., 5.8 rpg.) and freshman center Kate Cain (10.3 ppg, 6.8 rpg.). They are averaging 69.8 points per game while shooting 43.1 percent from the floor. They lead the league in field goal percentage defense, holding opponents to 36.9 percent from the floor.

CELEBRATING THE SENIORS
Seniors Tyra Buss and Amanda Cahill will be honored in their final regular season home game on Saturday against Nebraska. In their four-year careers, Buss and Cahill have been a part of 73 wins, two postseason appearances including the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance in 14 years and first tournament victory in 33 years. The duo has started in all 124 career games, as neither has never missed a game in their four-year career. A plethora of accolades between them, the duo will go down as the only two players in the top 10 of scoring to play at the same time. 
 
BARN BURNER STAYS WITH IU
Indiana completed its first sweep of Purdue since 1984-85 with a 52-44 win at Purdue on Monday night. The Hoosiers take the two-game series this season, after also picking up the 70-54 win on Jan. 6 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The win was also the first for IU in Mackey Arena since 2008. Senior forward Amanda Cahill led the way with her ninth double-double this season with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
 
STREAKIN' 
Indiana has won six games in a row with Monday's win over Purdue. The six consecutive wins in Big Ten games is the longest streak under head coach Teri Moren and marked the longest such streak in regular season play since  1982-83. 
 
EIGHT POINTS OR LESS
Indiana has battled in its share of close
games this season, deciding 12 games by eight points or less. The Hoosiers are 7-6 in games decided by eight points or less this season. Eighgt of those games have come in Big Ten play including the Monday night win at Purdue, which IU took home the win 52-44. 
THAT SCHEDULE IS TOUGH
The Hoosiers are playing one of the toughest schedules in the nation, which is currently 13th in Division I. They have faced six ranked opponents this season, including four of their first seven games in Big Ten play. Of those four league foes, they met three of those on the road. 
 
MORE RECORDS TO BREAK
With records set in points scored, free throws made, free throws attempted, and steals, Buss will set her sights on the assist records at Indiana. Currently, Buss ranks second in assists (512) behind Tisha Hill's 533 career dishes. Buss is also registering on the all-time 3-pointers made list, coming in fourth (179) and second in attempts (570).

CAHILL MAKES HER MARK
Senior Amanda Cahill set for another
career milestone against Wisconsin on Jan. 24, as she grabbed her 1,000th rebound. She became the third player to record 1,000 rebounds along with Denise Jackson (1,273) and Whitney Thomas (1,090) to reach the career milestone. She's just the second-ever player to record over 1,700 points and 1,000 rebounds. She ranks seventh all-time in scoring (1,706), third all-time in rebounds (1,032), third in all-time double-doubles (38) and seventh in blocks (114). She is also seventh amongst all active Division I players in rebounds. 
 
ANOTHER DAY FOR KYM
Junior forward Kym Royster poured in 19 points as she went 7-for-10 from the field and 5-for-6 from the free throw line in Indiana's win over Illinois. It marked her 15th game in double figures this season as she is one of the most improved players in the Big Ten. The Newark, Ohio native is averaging 11.3 points per points, up 7.1 points from her sophomore season to go along with 6.2 rebounds per game (+3.6).
 
PENN PUTS UP POINTS
Freshman guard Jaelynn Penn continues to put up solid numbers for Indiana in her freshman season. She has posted ten games in double digits this season and is averaging 9.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in her freshman season. She ranks sixth in points per game amongst all Big Ten freshmen, third in steals (1.1), sixth in rebounding and sixth in assists (2.2). She is a two-time Big Ten Freshman of the Week selection as she picked up honors in back-to-back weeks on Jan. 9 and Jan. 16 while starting every game for Indiana this season.
