WVC Splits With Vincennes

Last night at the Spencer Sports Center Wabash Valley hosted Vincennes University.

The WVC Lady Warriors improved to 4-0 with an 80 to 73 win over the Lady Trailblazers. Mariah McCully had 22 points for WVC while Gabi Baldridge added 15 points and 9 rebounds. Off the bench Ruby Angok had 11 points and 8 rebounds. VU falls to 500 with a 3-3 record.

The Warriors fell to the Trailblazers in a hard fought game 86 to 80. The Warriors were up at half time 44 to 37 but the last couple of minutes of the game belonged to VU. Leading WVC was Tyresse Williford with 20 points followed by Austin Trice with a double double 13 points and 14 rebounds while Marcus Garrett had 14 points. WVC is now 3-2 and the fourth ranked Trailblazers remain perfect at 6-0
