The long-awaited Wabash County property tax bills are getting closer to being mailed out. At last week’s county board meeting, county clerk Janet Will said she has been proofing sample bills that have been printed in advance of the actual bills being printed and mailed. Dean acknowledged that Wabash County’s tax bills had gotten later and later, but he said those delays have nothing to do with the current situation.
