Illinois man arrested for public intoxication
On September 26, 2024, at 7:42 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a suspicious person at the car wash located at 301 South U.S. 41 in Fort Branch. Upon arriving in the area Deputies Levi Sims and Quinten Might located 41 year old Ray Reynolds of McLeansboro, Illinois. Deputies conducted an investigation into why Mr. Reynolds was in the area, and during the investigation it was discovered that Mr. Reynolds was in possession of hypodermic needles. At the conclusion of their investigation Deputy Sims placed Mr. Reynolds into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Possession of Hypodermic Needles and Public Intoxication.
Assisting Deputies Sims and Might in their investigation was Deputy Wyatt Hunt.
