Over the last couple of months, there has been a spike in domestic battery arrests made by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. So much so, that police chief Mike McWilliams said the increase has been “troubling”. He told the city council last week that he hoped the community would come together in prayer in hopes the domestic incidents subside.
