On 1/20/24, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Reece L. Shoemaker, age 27, of Mt. Carmel on a Massac County Illinois Warrant for Child Pornography, two counts Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse, and two counts Traveling to Meet a Child.  Shoemaker was arrested at his residence in the 500 block of Cedar Street and transported to the Wabash County Jail pending extradition to Massac County.
