Wabash County Sheriff's Department July Arrests

Arrests by the Wabash County Sheriff's Office for the month of July:

On 07.06.23 26-year-old Krystina Bredemeier was arrested on an outstanding Wabash County warrant on an original charge of allowing domestic animals to run at large. Bredemeier was taken to the Wabash County Jail where she later posted a $100 cash bond. This charge stems from a complaint of a pig or pigs running at large and damaging a farm field on more than one occasion. 

On 07.13.23 a Wabash County deputy made a traffic stop at S. Church and E. Hill Streets in Bellmont when a license plate returned to a different vehicle. A roadside investigation was conducted and resulted in the arrest of 32-year-old Charlene Read of Fairfield. Read had an active FTA warrant out of White CO. The driver of the vehicle, Charles A. Turner (42) also from Fairfield, faces a list of traffic citations. Turner was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle, no valid driver's license, improper use of registration and operating a vehicle with suspended registration. 

On 07.22.23 a Wabash County deputy observed a vehicle cross the center line on Friendsville Ave. multiple times and conducted a traffic stop in the Warrior Grill parking lot. Upon making contact with the driver, Susan E. Monceaux (41) of Sulphur, La the deputy detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting form her person. Following a roadside investigation Monceaux was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. A passenger, 37-year-old Steven Ray Middleton, of Princeton whom is reportedly living in Illinois at least 30 days was found to be in possession of ammunition. Middelton was taken into custody as well and charged with possession of ammunition without a foid card. and illegal transportation of alcohol. Both were transported to the Wabash County Jail. 

On 07.30.23 the Sheriff's Office received a complaint of harassment due to a person driving by the caller's house numerous times.  The deputy responded to the area and located the vehicle. After observing the subjects driving a traffic stop was conducted for improper lane usage.  The traffic stop in the 300 block of Market St. resulted in the arrest of 39-year-old Jonathon S. Campbell, of Mt. Carmel. Campbell was taken to the Wabash County Jail for processing.
