On 8/16/23, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Clint R. Ford, age 34, of Mt. Carmel on a Wabash County Warrant for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.  The arrest warrant stemmed from a search warrant on Ford’s home served by the Mt. Carmel Police Department and the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office back in March of 2023.  During the search, suspected methamphetamine was recovered, among other items.  Ford was not home at the time and the case was forwarded to Wabash County State’s Attorney Kelli Storckman.  In August 2023, the above-mentioned arrest warrant was issued for Mr. Ford.   Ford was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was issued his arrest warrant and held on a $3000 cash bond.  Ford is currently out on bond on an unrelated 2022 methamphetamine delivery case investigated by the Southeastern Illinois Drug Task Force.
