Two Stages at Wabash Roots’N’Que

The Wabash County Museum will host the Wabash Roots’N’Que “Workshop Stage” this coming Saturday, May 20th on Mt. Carmel’s Market Street. The Illinois Arts Council and Mt. Carmel Public Utility, along with the Museum, are partnering to make the Workshop Stage possible, on the following schedule:

 11:30am - The Bates Girls performing Bluegrass & Country

12:45pm - Open Acoustic Jam Session w/Doug Hawf & Rob Krumm

1:45pm   - Irish Musicians Circle

3:00pm   - Blues Guitar Styles w/Robert Russell of “The Deciders”

3:45pm   - Songwriting Workshop with “The Woolsey’s”

 Food Trucks will be open all day (along with other vendors), and include “Jammon’ Jaleigh’s”, “The Green Pig”, “Rosie Jean’s Sweet Tea & Jesus”, “The Sno Shack” and the Mt. Carmel Lions Club offering Cotton Candy. You might even want to come early and visit the Wabash County Farmers Market, open from 8am-11am.

 The Wabash County Museum is located at 320 N Market Street, just 3 doors up from Merchants Park in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. There will be seating in the museum, but you’ll want to bring your lawn chairs, blankets & sunglasses for the open air performances at Merchants Park. Free Parking and Free Admission to all sessions.
