At the April 2023 Allendale School Board meeting held in the Library of Allendale School, the board:

Authorized Superintendent Bowser to prepare a tentative 2023-2024 School Budget.

Set school fees for the 2023-2024 school year.

Approved the following end of year dates:

8th Grade Promotion on Tuesday, May 16;

Teacher Institute on Thursday, May 18;

Awards Day on Friday, May 19;

Last School Day on Friday, May 19.

The board also approved the Junior High Holiday World field trip for May 24 or May 25, if tickets are still available.

Set the date and time of Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 7:00 pm, as the Special Meeting to reorganize the Board of Education following the recent election.

Approved a maternity leave for Kelsey Margelin, 2nd Grade teacher, beginning May 1, 2023 through the end of the school year.

Approved the resignation of Diana Morgan, Special Education teacher, at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.

Approved the hiring of Cindy Brogan as Cheer Coach for 2023-2024.

Approved the hiring of Tiffany Seaton and Elizabeth Perry as Summer Enrichment teachers for the summer of 2023.

Approved the transfer of Elizabeth Perry from 5/6 Language Arts teacher to 7/8 Language Arts teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

Approved the transfer of Brittany Weiss from K/PreK teacher to 5/6 Language Arts teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

Approved the hiring of Tiffany Seaton as Special Education teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

Approved the hiring of Judy Majors as Kindergarten/PreK teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.
