On 1/03/23, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Freddie L. Swift, age 45, of Mt. Carmel, for violation of bail bond/pre-trial release conditions. It was alleged that Swift violated the order by being within 250 feet of a residence he was prohibited from being around. Swift was located in the 1000 block of Pear Street where he was taken into custody and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he is being held pending a bond setting by judge.
