On 7/09/2022, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Angelo Johnson Sr. age 38, of Mt. Carmel, for Aggravated Domestic Battery following an incident at a residence in the 400 block of E 5th Street. Police were called there regarding Johnson causing bodily harm to a family member to include the aggravating factor of choking the victim during the family dispute. Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending a bond setting by a judge.
