City Hoping To Turn Water Plant Building Into Job Accelerator
Mt. Carmel officials are hoping to preserve the building that currently houses the city’s water plant on South Cherry Street. The city is in the process of building a new water plant, but it’s hoped the historic brick structure that has housed the city’s water operations for decades doesn’t have to be torn down.
