911 call leads to arrest of Patoka man on battery charges

On September 26, 2021, at 7:49 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of a disturbance at a residence on Mary Ann Drive in Patoka. Deputy Brian Naas and Sergeant Bruce Vanoven were dispatched to the area and began an investigation into the call. During the investigation Deputy Brian Naas collected statements from all the parties involved and then placed 44-year-old James Stocker of Patoka into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail Mr. Stocker was charged with two counts of battery. He has since posted a $500 bond.
