On 5/25/21, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Clayton S. Kirkman, age 35, of Mt. Carmel, for Criminal Damage to Property after Kirkman allegedly damaged the interior of a home in the 200 block of East 8th Street while visiting. Kirkman was released on a Notice to Appear in court and a bond stipulation of no contact with the alleged victim or their property. Kirkman later returned to the residence violating the terms of the bond. Kirkman was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail, where he was charged with Violation of Bail Bond and held pending a bond setting by a judge.
