Update: Here's where organizers will be on Saturday gathering signatures for Wabash petition for Separation:

Lancaster at 4 way stop 8:00 a.m. to 10:00am

Allendale Ruritan Park 10:30 to noon

Mt.Carmel City Park south of pool at small shelter house 1:00-2:00.

The Illinois Separation Group in association with Wabash County Illinois Separation will be having a petition signing at the four way stop on the southeast corner in Lancaster on Saturday June 20 from 8:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m.
The Illinois Separation is a group that is working with counties to get an advisory question on the fall 2020 ballot to the voters asking them if they want their county board to work for separation from Chicago.

Organizer Kevin Schildt said there may be more signing events in Wabash County in the near future. 315 signatures are needed in Wabash County.
