Knox County – Shortly after midnight, Indiana State Police and Knox County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle crash on Bicknell Road near Summers Road that claimed the life of a 60-year-old Knox County man.

Preliminary investigation revealed the driver was operating a pickup truck and was traveling west on Bicknell Road approximately ½ mile east of Summers Road when for unknown reasons the vehicle left the roadway, rolled and came to a final rest in a deep ditch. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Knox County Coroner’s Office. The driver will be identified when his family has been notified.
