From City Clerk Rudy Witsman: Due to the health and financial difficulties our water customers are facing at this time the City of Mt. Carmel has instituted the following policy for the month of April.

As of April 1, 2020, the City of Mount Carmel has put a hold on water disconnects and penalties for the next 30 days. You are still required to pay for water usage during this time.

The City strongly urges water customers to continue to pay their accounts during this time. If you can’t pay your total bill the City encourages you to at least make a partial payment.
