Mississippi Trucker Arrested After Allegedly Trying To Run Driver Over
On March 5, 2020, at 4:31 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of a disturbance at the Pilot Travel center located at 901 East 1250 South. While enroute to the scene Sergeant John Fischer and Deputy Brian Naas were advised that the disturbance was between two truck drivers after one had allegedly tried to run the other over. Upon arriving Sgt. Fischer and Deputy Naas began an investigation into the incident. After speaking with all the parties involved 48-year-old Carl Roark of Sandersville, Mississippi was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Roark was charged with Battery. He remains in custody on an $1100 bond.
Assisting Sgt. Fischer and Deputy Naas in their investigation was Deputy Loren Barchett.
