Princeton man arrested on theft charge
On January 30, 2020, at 1:19 p.m. Princeton Police and Deputies from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Menards located at 201 S. Richland Creek Drive to investigate a theft in progress. Upon arriving Princeton Officer Jason Swan gave a description of the subject and Deputy Garrett Tuley located the subject and began an investigation into the incident. At the conclusion of his investigation Deputy Tuley placed 52-year-old Scott Morrison of Princeton into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Morrison was charged with Theft with a prior conviction. He has since posted a $750 bond.
Assisting Deputy Tuley and Officer Swan in their investigation was Deputy Jennifer Loesch.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
