Much of the attention on Wabash General Hospital’s multi-million expansion project has been on the multi-level medical office building near 13th and College Drive. But another big part of the overall project is expanding the orthopedic and rehab center. And that project has grown even larger than first planned. At their meeting last week, the WGH board of directors approved adding another 1,732 square feet to the project bringing the entire ortho expansion to 4,473 square feet. The price tag also went up another $682,000 on the expansion that is set to begin next year.
