Report of a road rage incident results in arrest of Evansville man on DUI charge

On December 15, 2020, at 7:09 p.m. Gibson County Deputy Bryce Jutzi was dispatched to the 4000 block of Tulip Tree Drive in Princeton to investigate a road rage incident that had just occurred in the area. Upon arriving on scene Deputy Bryce Jutzi spoke with the reporting party and they identified the vehicle and the driver who was involved in the road rage incident. At that point Deputy Jutzi began an investigation into the incident. Upon speaking with both parties and reviewing security footage Deputy Jutzi placed 23-year-old Justin Lewis of Evansville into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Lewis was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. He remains in custody on a $650 bond.

Assisting Deputy Jutzi in his investigation was Captain Bryan Ellis.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
