A duo that rose to fame during NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” has been booked to perform in Mount Carmel next month. Market Street MTC head Mike Harris has announced that Broken Roots will perform at Merchants Park on Friday, November 13th. 

Broken Roots consists of two former law enforcement officers based out of Chicago who had had been playing music individually before joining forces to compete on America’s Got Talent Season 15 where they finished in second place.  

The group, which plays a combination of country and rock/pop, is being brought to Mt. Carmel by First National Bank and Harris Insurance Group, Ltd.

The evening will start at 6:30pm with Cage Willis as opening act before Broken Roots hits the stage for the free concert. Several food trucks will be available that night as well.
