On 1/25/20 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Adam M. Gilil, age 37, of Mt. Carmel, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a traffic stop for speeding in the 300 block of North Walnut Street.  During the stop officers observed a red straw in his shirt pocket and a glass smoking device in the center console, both of which had suspected narcotics residue inside them.  Gilil was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending the posting of bond.
